October is Rock-Tober at the SRC climbing wall!
Join us for our annual Rock-Tober challenge!
Climb one vertical mile during the month of October and become a member of the vertical mile club.
Note: A current UAF climbing wall certification is required to climb at the SRC wall. Click here to check out certification options.
How it works
Sign up using the form below.
Choose an option: individual or team.
Come up with the greatest team name ever.
Climb 176 total laps at the SRC climbing wall during the month of October (roped wall only).
Record your laps using the form below.
Become a member of the vertical mile club!
Individual Challenge:
Climb 176 laps on your own for the ultimate vertical mile challenge!
Have a partner belay you, or climb with the auto belays. No free soloing please.
team Challenge:
Team up with ONE partner and climb 88 laps each, totaling 176 laps. That's 5,280 vertical feet!
Note: Each team member must climb 88 laps. Share the love.
