"Health is a state of body. Wellness is a state of being." - J. Stanford
well-ness
-the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.
We often think of wellness as eating right and getting exercise. Taking care of those 2 things are great steps towards being in good health but have you thought that there may be more to our well-being? Dr. Bill Hettler and the National Wellness Institute believe so.
They have broken down wellness into 6 dimensions: emotional, occupational, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual.
As we learn more about wellness and explore more facets to our overall well-being, take a minute to read Erin Shifflett's thoughts on "Emotion, personified: What "Inside Out" gets right about mental health". Here's an excerpt from her article:

Disgust’s job description includes keeping Riley safe by ensuring that she avoids things that could harm her (poison, for example). ... These three-dimensional representations of normal, healthy emotions that are often regarded as negative or harmful open the door to conversations about feelings which might otherwise be difficult to address. "
Take a break from the books and try this word search. It can be refreshing to take a break if you've been concentrating on one thing for too long.
