This program allows current Nanook Recreation members to rent fitness equipment to workout at home. The equipment in this program is Nanook Recreation owned equipment. Prices vary depending on the value of the equipment, the size and the periodic maintenance needed to keep the equipment in good working order. Please review our prices in the table below. All equipment rental is done on a first come first serve basis. New equipment will be added and/or removed from the inventory depending on operational capacity of the SRC.
You must have a current Nanook Recreation membership at the time of the equipment rental. A current membership does not include a day pass. In the event Nanook Recreation facilities are closed to members, those members who suspend their memberships and do not seek a refund will be eligible to participate in the fitness equipment rental program during the shutdown period.
Rental payments are due monthly; we will reach out to you at the end of each month or you may prepay a rental for multiple months in advance. Reservations can be made for multiple months and you may pay per month. Larger equipment that requires special handling and or assembly such as elliptical, treadmills, and squat racks will have a delivery fee added. Delivery and setup is not optional on treadmills, elliptical and weight racks to ensure the safety of the equipment. Bike and weight package delivery is optional if you are able to pick up yourself. All Nanook Recreation equipment is periodically serviced for preventive maintenance and rental equipment is no exception. If you rent any cardio equipment for more than 1 month you should anticipate a maintenance service visit from our staff. We want to ensure your safe and uninterrupted use of the equipment. This cost is part of your rental and you will not be charged additionally for this service. Please see the maintenance schedule below.

Pick up will be at the outdoor adventures office next to the outdoor climbing tower.
If delivery is needed, a staff member will email you delivery time availability and cost before scheduling the delivery.
Payments may be made via phone by calling OA office between 12pm and 5pm Monday - Friday. All renewal rental payments must be made before the 1st of the month, or you may prepay rent a maximum of 6 months at a time. Some cardio equipment may have a maximum pre paid rental period of one month due to its rental being dependent on SRC operational restrictions.
