Organizational Structure

Functional Organization

Instead of separate HR Offices, the new UA HR organization utilizes functional areas:

  • Operations
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Transition & Benefits
  • Labor & Employee Engagement
  • Organizational Development

Direct Reporting

Regardless of location throughout Alaska, the directors will report directly to the CHRO.

This leads to standard operating policy and procedures and ensures consistent accountability. In turn, greater productivity occurs and excellent customer service is provided.

Clear Career Path

Each department is designed with career ladders and clear steps for promotion and advancement.

Teams perform similar tasks and more experienced or talented group members serve as examples and mentors. This leads to continuous growth and development within the organization.

What are the responsibilities of the new functional areas?
