Elder Perspectives on Ice Change
The foundation of our understanding of climate change in Alaska and throughout the Arctic begin with the knowledge of our elders who have witnessed it throughout their lives. Bringing elders or long-time residents with deep knowledge of the land to your classroom or youth group is an integral part of the learning process.
Elder Samuel Demientieff will share his reflections on changes he has observed in Interior Alaska through his lifetime.
