Welcome to Nanook Nation and congratulations!
IPERT Program Coordinator
📍CIS
After earning my certifications in Project Management and UX/UI Design from PMI and Google, I entered the world of education to explore my passion for learning, creation, and student success.
Currently, I work as a Program Coordinator for the University of Fairbanks College of Indigenous Studies, where I'm focused on assisting with the development of UAF’s IPERT (Innovative Programs to Enhance Research Training) Program.
In my free time you can find me spending time with my family, working on art projects, or reading.
I am honored to be a part of the fantastic team of the College of Indigenous Studies. I look forward to the important and impactful work to come and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

You need to travel for your work at CIS, now what? Here are the CIS Travel Steps:
1. Complete Travel Customer Service Office (TCSO) travel training and obtain a travel credit card.
2. Complete the CIS Travel Planning and Checkpoints form: This coordinates communication between the traveler, supervisor, budget authority, and CIS Fiscal. It verifies key items such as the correct fund/org, funding availability, and cost assignability.
3. Set up your travel in Concur: Visit uaf.edu/travel. Choose to request TCSO full-service assistance (recommended) or set up your own travel in Concur. When the travel request is in Concur, attach the signed Travel Planning & Checkpoints form to streamline Concur’s approval steps.
Renting a vehicle?: For insurance purposes, UAF Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management (EHSRM, aka Risk) requires driver training if you are driving a rental vehicle.
Be Confident: By doing these steps, you will be following BOR travel regs, have communicated the details of your trip to your supervisor and budget authority, are charging the correct funding source, mitigating risk levels, and showing how your travel is a good use of university funding.
Safe travels!
