The Alaska Young Philosopher Awards promotes the value of philosophy among Alaskan students in grades 7-12. The event is modeled on the International Young Philosopher Awards.
Each year, students are invited to submit school projects that raise and address philosophical questions related to the theme for the year.
Exemplary contributions are recognized and showcased at a year-end event at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Interested teachers or community members should email Dr. Joel Potter <jmpotter3@alaska.edu> for more information.
