Participants will complete a series of six web-based modules introducing and investigating five core practices in place-based teaching and classroom management. This course provides students interested in pursuing a teaching certification program an introduction to the profession and an overview of pathways to teaching in Alaska. This 3 credit class has no pre-requisites and is appropriate for high school and early college students. The course counts towards the Bachelor's of Arts degrees in both Elementary and Secondary education at UAF.
