The Ako Hiko Schools are hosting a film festival for all classes in the cluster to share their creativity and film making talents. Films will be shared at a Screening Event in Week 10 of Term 3.

Film Criteria:

• Films need to be no longer that 3 minutes.

• Incorporate the theme of Kindness.

• Can be any genre.

The film festival will promote creativity, imagination, and digital skills within a genuine context for our learners. It will give learners an opportunity to learn, create and share a piece of learning they can be truly proud of. It will allow us to connect with each other through the use of our blogs and through a shared screening session.

All Ako Hiko Classes are invited to participate! The Theme of Kindness has been chosen to highlight and showcase the good things that are happening in your community, families, cultures and nation.

Key Dates:

• Selected films will be shown at the screening event on 23rd September.

• All films will be published on class blogs on 24th September and available to view on this site.
