Magnum Steel Industries Limited (MSIL) supplies high quality rebar to the growing construction industry in Bangladesh. MSIL produces bars for reinforcing concrete in structures such as high-rise buildings, industrial plants, apartment blocks, bridges, culverts and overpasses. It uses high-quality low-carbon steel billets to make strong and safe steel bars.

With the vision to be the complete building solution provider of the country, Akij Resources Limited acquired Magnum Steel Industries Limited in 2021 which were producing Magnum Supreme 500W and Magnum 400 since its inception in 2009.

Now we are producing Akij Ispat 500 DWR with a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa (equivalent to 72,500 psi) simultaneously provides greater strength and economy as compared to 60 grade bars with yield strength of 60,000 psi. AIL also produces Akij Ispat 420 DWR with minimum yield strength of 415 MPa equivalent to 60,000 psi.
