Our laboratory has been awarded a five-year research grant to develop a novel therapeutic for the elimination of latent tuberculosis. This project builds on 10-DEBC, a promising drug candidate identified through our iMAC-based tuberculosis drug screening platform in 2019, and marks an exciting next step toward its therapeutic development.

ISSCR released Best Practices for the Development of Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Therapies, a comprehensive new resource designed to accelerate the translation of human pluripotent stem cell (PSC)-derived therapies into clinical trials and commercial use. Prof. Kim worked for the project as a steering group member and Co-chair. Congratulate!

New publication released!

Our paper " A multicellular liver organoid model for investigating hepatitis C virus infection and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease progression" in collaboration with Dr. Myung-Jini Son at KRIBB has been published in Hepatology! This work has developed the innovative animal-free method to study chronic liver disease using multi-cellular liver organoids. Thanks for the wonderful collaboration!
