2.CO2 conversion to small molecules as CCU technology:

Homogeneous organometallic complexes have been investigated to activate CO2. Ir(bisNHC) complexes were utilized for CO2 reduction, 

and Cu(triNHC) complexes were utilized for the carbonate synthesis.
