Meet the Year 3 Teachers!

Miss Keath

Hi! I'm Cassie Keath and I am 3A's Year 3 teacher for 2022!

This is now my 6th year of teaching at ACPS and my first time teaching Year 3, after teaching Year 6 for 5 years! I have been fortunate enough to have taught some of my current students older siblings in my years teaching, so I am excited to teach these students and watch them all grow.

I am looking forward to teaching a new year level and hope the students in Year 3 leave with a positive attitude and a love for learning.

I absolutely love dogs and have a little Jack Russel Terrier at home named Milo. On weekends I enjoy some downtime with friends and family which always includes food especially pasta…I would not survive in a world without PASTA!

Hello, my name is Ashilta Chand and this is my second year at ACPS.

One of my biggest strengths is relating to others as I am a very social person. In my spare time I love to go for walks and spend time with my family and Leo my dog.

MS Sims

Hello! I am Rachel Sims and am the excited classroom teacher for 3E.

Prior to becoming a teacher I worked in the finance industry for many years however I always wanted to be a teacher – it is the best job in the world!

On the weekends in Winter (COVID permitting) you can find me at the MCG supporting the mighty Richmond Tigers. The rest of my free time I spend with my nephews (and their parents) and their pet rescue greyhound Leo, or at cafes catching up with my friends or reading a book.

I look forward to collaborating with each of my students to help them learn and grow.
