GUIDELINES:-
1. Student should visit Industry / Workshop / Showroom and write a detail report on same.
2. Report should contain details such as Aim of visit, objectives of visit, Introduction to Industry / Workshop / Showroom, Input material, Process, output product, student's observation, student's feedback whether purpose of visit satisfied, conclusion
3. Enough safety measures should be taken during visit
The student shall complete the following assignments on
1. Energy sources (Minimum one assignment on Conventional and one on Non-conventional sources)
2. Vehicle specifications and systems in passenger car
3. Electric vehicle specifications and its systems
4. Domestic appliances viz. refrigerator, air-conditioner, washing machine, cold storage
GUIDELINES:-
Minimum five questions are expected on each assignment
Faculty should prepare question bank at end of each topic
The student shall complete the following (any four) experiments:
1. Demonstration of power train system in the vehicle
2. Demonstration of vehicle systems (automobile chassis, steering system, suspension system, braking system - Any Two)
3. Demonstration of energy conversion devices
4. Demonstration of additive manufacturing / rapid prototyping techniques
5. Demonstration of CNC
GUIDELINES:-
Enough safety measures should be taken while demonstration
The Student's Lab Journal should contain following related to every experiment:
Theory related to the experiment.
Apparatus with their detailed specifications.
Schematic, Layout /diagram.
Observation table/ simulation plots/graphs.
Sample calculations for one/two reading.
Result table.
Graph and Conclusions.
Few short questions related to the experiment.
There should be continuous assessment for the TW.
Assessment must be based on understanding of theory, attentiveness during practical, and understanding.
Session, how efficiently the student is able to do connections and get the results.
Timely submission of journal.
