Using images responsibly means choosing pictures and photos that you are permitted to use and giving credit to the creator who made them. Always check the license and include a citation.

The following websites are a good start when searching for royalty-free images

Britannica ImageQuest has more than 3 million rights-cleared images. The citations are provided, all you need to do is copy and paste. (The username and password is the same as Britannica).

What happens if I look for images on recommended sites and can't find them?

You can always ask your librarian or teacher for help when finding licensed images. Another source you can use is Google Images -- Creative Commons License Images.

When searching on Google Images

Go to Tools
Check the Creative Commons licenses
Cite it as an "image" in MyBIB
