It is my great pleasure to welcome all the 8 ISSEA sister schools to this year's ISSEA Tennis tournament hosted by AISM.
After the wonderful experiences and memories from our past events, it is with immense joy that we open our doors once again for what promises to be a remarkable tournament. We are thrilled to be hosting the ISSEA Tennis Tournament and to continue the tradition of camaraderie, excellence, and sportsmanship that defines the ISSEA community.
Maputo welcomes you with open arms, and during your stay, AISM is your home away from home. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the tournament, the school, and our city. Our students, staff, and community members are here to ensure your experience is nothing short of fantastic.
We eagerly anticipate the display of talent, teamwork, and the spirit of competition that this tournament will bring. Let's make this an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Wishing all athletes, coaches, and supporters a successful and enjoyable tournament.

Dear ISSEA Scholar-Athletes and Coaches,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to AISM.
We have been looking forward to this event all year and are absolutely thrilled to host ISSEA Tennis 2024! While you are here, I hope you enjoy our Buffalo hospitality and our beautiful host country, Mozambique. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know.
This is my 15th year in ISSEA so I have come to really appreciate the value of this organization. While you are here, I hope that you take to heart what I have come to see as the pillars of ISSEA:
Challenge – Challenge yourself to be the very best you can be. It is only when you push yourself to the limits that you will see how strong and how capable you really are.
Competition – Enjoy spirited play at a skill level that goes beyond what you might normally find in many high schools.
Friendship – Make new friends and reunite with old ones as you support each other throughout a challenging tournament.
Fair Play – Most importantly, carry yourself with decorum and show respect for yourself and others. Be either the humble winner or the gracious loser, which are hallmarks of the ISSEA spirit.
I wish you all the best during this tournament. We are truly honored to have you as our guests. Welcome to the American International School of Mozambique.
Sincerely,
Dr. Russ Menard
