Prodigy is an adaptive math-practice game set in a fantasy role-playing universe. As students progress in their math skills, so do their characters, learning new spells to use against enemies. To use these spells successfully, students must flex their math knowledge and answer questions that cover a lot of content and adjust to students' abilities. If students don't succeed on the first try, they get hints to help them out.

Socratic by Google is an app that uses AI technology to search the web for resources, explanations, and answers to students' questions. Students speak, type in, or snap a picture of a typed or handwritten question and instantly receive multiple resources containing explanations and answers. Answers appear in one or more pages containing videos from YouTube and Khan Academy, information from Wikipedia, images, and more.

Math Planet is a website that is specifically geared towards secondary math learning. It includes the staples of secondary math: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, 2, and Geometry. It also includes sections on the ACT and SAT. Math Planet focuses on concepts or learning standards and gives a generic breakdown of the types of problems and how to solve them. It also includes videos on each concept as well. It's free and could be powerful for student review as well as for teachers who need it as well.

GeoGebra is a free software program that lets kids create mathematical constructions -- and models where they can drag objects and adjust parameters -- to explore algebra and geometry simultaneously (along with other math fields).
