About:
The Arlington FFA Booster Club is made up of parents, guardians and extended family members of Arlington FFA students, AISD faculty and staff, members of the community, business leaders, and FFA alumni. Our purpose is to support the Arlington FFA chapter and its members through volunteering of time, financial support and program advocacy.
Money raised from fundraisers is used to support the FFA chapter with (including, but not limited to) travel expenses, equipment needed for chapter operations, Arlington Livestock Association and assistance with FFA events and activities as needed. There are also many volunteer opportunities, including the Winter Classic livestock show, community events like Fall Festival, FFA banquet, and more. Booster club meetings are held monthly. Check out the calendar below for meeting and event dates!
Membership Levels:
Family Membership Level- $85 (Must be paid for the ALA to purchase your animal if you make sale)
Extended Family Membership Level- $40 (Recommended for Grandparents, Relatives, Community Members, FFA Alumni)
Arlington Livestock Association:
The Arlington Livestock Association (ALA) is the Buyers Group for the Arlington FFA. This group consists of FFA Alumni. parents, community members and businesses who seek to support Arlington FFA members selling a project or animal at the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show (TCJLS). This show is a terminal show for most of our livestock animals including cattle, goats, lambs, rabbits, and chickens. In addition to livestock, the Arlington Livestock Association also supports our FFA members who show other projects such as floral, ag mech, and youth fair projects during the TCJLS. The Arlington Livestock Association will generate funding from events, fundraisers, sponsorships and donations through the Arlington FFA Booster Club. These funds are pooled together in order to purchase animals and projects at the Tarrant County Junior Livestock auction in March.
*In order for an Arlington FFA member's project to be purchased by the ALA at TCJLS, their parent/guardian must be an Arlington FFA Booster Club Member.
