Project List - Click to Navigate
"We wanted to know how the distance between a magnet affects how a compass needle moves. Our project tests what will happen when the distance between a compass and magnet changes. We will use a variety of materials like a compass, a strong magnet, ruler, data recording sheet and a flat surface to work on. This project helps understand how magnets affect compasses which are used by sailors, hikers and pilots in their navigation and exploration."

"We are exploring the magic of magnets. We use magnets to make a pencil float and test how adding weight affects its height. We measure the gap with a ruler and count weights until the pencil drops. It's a fun way to see how magnets push and how weight changes the float!"

"We wanted to explore how the shape and weight of different objects affect their fall due to air resistance. We dropped a variety of objects, such as a feather, a book, and a rock, one by one, and measured the time it took for each to reach the ground using a stopwatch. We made sure to test objects with different shapes and weights to see how they behaved."

"We are exploring electro-magnetic science because one of us is interested in electricity and the other in magnets. We then decided to explore how the number of coils affects the amount of electricity in a magnetic field. This project is so exciting, and we are learning a lot."
