In commemoration of the 94th National Day of Saudi Arabia, the Academic Activity Department at Alrowad International School, Riyadh, British section, organized an exciting quiz show focused on Saudi Vision 2030, the nation's history, and its rich culture. Students from Grades 9 and 10 not only participated but were also given key organizational roles, including hosting the show, filming the event, and setting up the stage, ensuring that they remained at the center of attention. After a competitive round of questions, 9D emerged as the winners. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates and was met with appreciation from both students and teachers. Grade 12 students organized a "Green Pledge Wall" initiative aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, under the supervision of Mr. Amanullah Khan, the academic activity coordinator and English teacher. The activity encouraged students to commit to the Kingdom's green initiatives, with three core pledges focusing on environmental conservation, reducing carbon footprints, and promoting sustainability. The organizing students actively engaged their classmates, presenting the importance of these green efforts and successfully persuading many to sign the pledge. The initiative garnered significant interest, making it a successful step in raising awareness about Saudi Arabia’s ambitious environmental goals.
