English 10

Welcome to English 10. This course is designed to be a transition into upper level high school English classes, yet because we are really Language Arts based, it's really about communication as a whole. Thus the skills we teach can be applied to almost any course work. Our primary goal is to work on reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing, and visually representing materials in order to prepare for a future academic and/or work career. This class is a blended class at times, so students will work on these skills in both a traditional setting and an online setting. My goal is to prepare students to enter the world of technology from a work perspective rather than a social perspective. I also hope that this blend will make the course more engaging and a great place to come and learn.
