Leadership activities

• Organizer of the Sketching and Learning Reading Group meetings; September 2014 to August 2016. The reading group is composed of researchers in the Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Electrical and Computer Engineering, and ICES at the UT Austin.
• Technical Chair of Signal Processing with Adaptive Sparse Structured Representations (SPARS 13), EPFL, Lausanne, July 2013.
• Assisted in the organization of Signal Processing with Adaptive Sparse Structured Representations (SPARS 11), Edinburgh, June 2011.
• Co-founder and Vice President (2009) and President (2010) of the Edinburgh SIAM Student Chapter.

Outreach activities

• Tutor in the Scottish Lothian Equal Access Programme for Schools (LEAPS) Summer School in both 2010 and 2011, introducing high school students to university maths.
• Tutor in higher and advanced higher mathematics revision sessions for high schools students in Edinburgh, 2009 and 2010.
