The American Institute of Architecture Students, University of Oregon Chapter is a non-profit organization that exists for the betterment of architectural education, training, and practice at the University, as well as the greater Eugene community.

The missions of AIAS is to promote excellence in architectural education, training, and practice; to foster an appreciation of architecture and related disciplines; to enrich communities in a spirit of collaboration; and to organize students and combine their efforts to advance the art and science of architecture.

Objectives of our Chapter:

• To foster relationships between students, University of Oregon faculty, and local professionals in the architecture or related designed fields;

• To serve as a resource for student, faculty, and professional needs;

• To provide opportunities for student growth, involvement, and preparedness;

• To encourage open discourse, inclusiveness, cooperation and inter-disciplinary engagement in an effort to expand our perspectives and enrich our learning, teaching, research, and creative practices.

Being an AIAS member is a great way to create a strong community here in Lawrence. You can build connections with fellow students and staff.  Here at our chapter you receive monthly membership benefits from our board!
