Hoover Elementary & Hoover PTO are excited to kick off a Read-athon.
Our event begins Monday, February 10, and ends Friday, February 28.
What is new this year?
Hoover PTO is partnering with a different company called Get Movin' to create a FunHub for this event.
What is different this time?
Hoover will retain a higher percentage of the profits than the previous read-athon.
Unlike years past, Hoover PTO gets to determine incentives for students who earn money and for those tracking their reading minutes.
Parents with multiple students can create a Family webpage. Donations to this page are automatically split evenly amongst siblings.
Background Information
This event will alternate every other year with the Kids Heart Challenge returning for the 2025-2026 school year.
Hoover PTO is committed to donating $1000 each school year for the media center to purchase new content.
