Our Team: Driven by Innovation and Collaboration
We're Team VALOR, a team of 6th-8th grade creative engineers, collaborative thinkers, coders, and innovative problem solvers in FIRST LEGO League. We're focused on coding, robot missions, and developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges. We approach FLL like a varsity academic sport, emphasizing teamwork and learning in every session – no random building, no time to waste! Our goals include advancing through competitions, aiming for the World Festival. We also live the FIRST Core Values, like showing Gracious Professionalism by helping others and Discovery through constant experimentation.
Regardless of our accolades (or lack of), we always remember that the journey is the destination.

Practice presentations for all FLL elements.
Collaborate closely with your team.
We're Looking For:
Hard workers who persevere.
Students eager to learn coding together.
Motivated and curious individuals.
Good listeners who follow guidance.
Team players with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
This is NOT: A casual LEGO building club. A program where the coach does the work. Suitable for those not ready to take initiative or struggle significantly in math/science/writing.
Information for Parents: Supporting Your Student
Your Role: Provide transportation at times, offer encouragement, respect the student-led nature of the team, and occasionally assist with logistics.
Important: Understand that FLL is a demanding, competitive academic sport, not a casual LEGO activity. Ensure your child is prepared for this level of commitment.
