Problem: Sustainable Funding in Archaeology
The Core Issue: archaeological projects are often severely underfunded.
When budgets are low, archaeologists are forced to make difficult choices.
The Public Disconnect: The public is often fascinated by archaeology (Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider games), but there is no simple or engaging way for them to directly support the actual science. Funding is typically limited to complex academic grants or large institutional donors.
Solution: The "Amazing Archeologist Fund (AAF)" with a working prototype website where people can donate!
Create a new sustainable funding stream and engage the public to appreciate archeology.
It is an online platform where the public can "Adopt-an-Archaeologist" or "Fund-a-Dig."
Donors don't just give money they buy a high-quality 3D-printed replica of a world-famous artifact.
A significant majority of the donation (about 80%) goes directly to funding archaeological projects.
Donors get a tangible, beautiful object for their home or office, serving as a "badge" of their support.
