Google Tips
Google AI
Google AI strives to summarize the content of webpages that have already been created. Remember that the information is not always accurate. Use Google AI as a tool to build your own background knowledge on a topic.
Filter your search
Along the top, you can filter your search by type (i.e. Images, Videos, News, etc)
Using "Tools," you can filter when the site article was published. You can also do an advanced search and filter your search down even more.
Use NewsGuard
NewsGuard is a chrome extension that gives rating and brief summary of a news source (not websites). Once you have installed and activated NewsGuard, you'll see NewsGuard's scoring "shield" icons next to news links on Google. Hover your mouse over the shield icon to get a brief summary of the source and our rating, and click "See the Full Nutrition Label" to get a more detailed analysis.
