Students are required to complete 6 hours of behind the wheel
Anoka Hennepin students complete 8 hours of simulation lessons, which count as 2 of their 6 required hours
Therefore, students will only have to complete 4 hours of behind the wheel

PERMIT VALIDATION AND BEHIND THE WHEEL SCHEDULING
The majority of the district #11 driver education students take their written knowledge exam (permit test) before the end of each trimester.
Students who pass this exam will be issued a record of examination (RX) from the state examiner on the day of passing this test. It is important that parents and students understand that the RX is NOT a legal permit. Students cannot drive under any circumstances. Severe consequences for the parent and student could result if this is allowed.
Getting your official permit can only be accomplished at a state exam station or the license center where they will validate your record of examination (RX) and issue a temporary permit.
