This page provides information to AHS members about offering service to the sangha and details of current requests for support.
As a community of practitioners we share the aspiration to practise together and help to bring the dharma into the world. We take collective responsibility for supporting sangha activity and creating opportunities to share our practice. In particular we are guided by three touchstones:
Enriching (or abundant) opportunities to connect with the Dharma in a healthy way
Authentic or genuine community with which to support inspiration, openness, honesty and friendship
Demanding or intensive practice for those who would really benefit
Those with the energy, time and skills can support the activities of the sangha by offering service in a number of roles, both in-person and online. Working in service to the sangha provides a special opportunity to experience practice and work within a Dharma community setting, providing a rich base for combining practice with everyday life.
This page provides information on areas of activity where you can get involved and where support is currently especially required. However, if you have your own ideas or particular skills you would like to share, you are warmly invited to get in touch with Community Director, Mebar, to talk this through.
