About Mrs. Brawner

Tracy Brawner grew up in the small Long Island town of Southampton, New York. She headed south to Vanderbilt University, where she received a B.S. in Psychology and Elementary Education, and later an M.S in Linguistics/ESL from Northern Arizona University. In between the two, she flew halfway across the world to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Kiribati, Central Pacific. Mrs Brawner is starting her 25th year of teaching (15 of those at Woodridge).  This is her 5th year as a librarian.  She is excited to work with all the students at Woodridge and bring her love of literature together with Future Ready library skills!

About Mrs. Flynn

Elizabeth Flynn grew up in the sleepy coastal village of Morro Bay, California.  It was there during the never ending months of fog that she developed an affinity for mystery novels, trains, and people watching.  She honed her research and writing skills at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and received a B.A. in History.  Her career adventures include managing an ice cream shop, working in a homeless shelter, and teaching elementary-level outdoor naturalist programs.  The Woodridge library has brought her love of kids, books, and organization together.  Her ultimate goal is to be a detective.
