binary translator -- Convert your text to binary code. Copy the binary code to your doc and share with students. Students use the binary translator to decipher their clue (you decide whether to give them the link to the binary translator or let them figure out they need to Google a binary translator to crack the code).
Canva template -- Create a graphic organizer, timeline, etc. that students must solve. You can share it so that students are forced to make a copy of your template.
EDPUZZLE -- Create an interactive video lesson and have your last question/answer be the answer to your Esacpe Room puzzle. Edpuzzles can be imbedded on Google Sites.
Fake Text Message -- create a fake conversation describing a concept, vocabulary term, person, etc. The escape room answer is what is being described.
FLIPPITY activity -- Find a cool interactive game on Flippity for students to play.
Hidden pictures -- Use Google Slides to create a hidden image that is slowly revealed to the viewer.
Jigsaw Puzzle -- Use Google Slides to create an image. Download your slide as a png image, and then upload it to Jigsaw Planet to create a puzzle. Copy & share the link to your puzzle.
Kahoot -- Create a Kahoot with review questions. Make your last question in the Kahoot the answer to the escape room clue.
Quizizz -- Create a Quizizz with review questions and unique Memes. Each meme has a letter that spells out the escape room clue word. Use this template to create your Memes, and then upload the images to Quizizz (More --> Memes --> Create New Meme Set). Here's a video tutorial that shows you how!
REBUS Generator -- Create a rebus puzzle for students to solve. Tip: a short clue is best (like one or two words). Copy the image to a slide to share as a webpage.
Sorting activity -- Blended Learning!! Create a paper sorting or matching activity, and have students complete the activity to find the answer for the escape room.
