It is our mission to teach visual literacy skills with the intention of preparing students for a lifetime of creative expression. AHISD Art Educators cultivate an environment that encourages aesthetic awareness, historic consciousness, critical analysis, and an appreciation for the role of art in an evolving world through an enriching and engaging curriculum. We strive to inspire students to become critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, compassionate human beings, and life-long learners who inspire others.
