I have been teaching high school science for 24 years and bring with me a wealth of experience and experiences. My educational background includes my bachelor of arts degree from St. John's University, my masters in teaching and learning from St. Mary's University.

I am also actively involved in the educational process as a parent as my wife and I are the parents of three children ages 17, 15, and 13. I use my experiences as a teacher and a parent to relate to students of all ages. It is my goal to help you aim high and achieve the goals you have set for yourself and keep moving in a positive direction for your future.

Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!

Mrs. Stover

Hello! My name is Amie Stover. I have been teaching physical science and biology at Anoka High School since 2003. Currently, I am teaching both Biology and College Biology. My background includes a masters degree in conservation ecology from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as graduate courses in natural resources management from the University of Michigan. I have been fortunate to experience both laboratory research and field research through jobs in Philadelphia at the Monell Chemical Senses Center and Ann Arbor at the Natural Area Preservation office.

I challenge myself and all of my students to learn something new every day. Sometimes that is a new fact related to class, sometimes it is interesting trivia, other times it is a new skill. We will learn a lot about active learning and studying to help students develop skills that will help them be successful and excited about learning.

I am available to work with students most days after school from 2:20-3:30 pm. Thank you for supporting education! I am excited to work with students and watch their growth.
