Welcome to my page. I started teaching at Alden-Hebron District #19 in Aug. 2006 and have had the pleasure to teach at the middle school and elementary school. I started my career teaching in the middle school for 10 years as well as coached middle school volleyball. Then I went to the elementary school and experienced grades 2nd, 4th and, 5th grade to return back to the middle school in Aug 2020. At the middle school, I have taught all subjects at some point of my career. This year I am only doing 8th grade Math and Science and look forward to getting to know this group of students better. 

I am a mom of 2 wonderful boys that keep me very busy. When I am not at school I am most likely the "mom Uber" for these two boys. Both of my boys are involved in a variety of things like Scouts, Sports, Band, Choir and so much more!  We love to travel when we can fit it into our busy schedules. 

I graduated from Woodstock High School many years ago, then attended Western Illinois University for my undergrad work. I hold a Bachelor's in Science for Elementary Education while also having my middle school endorsements in math, science, social sciences, and language arts. In 2022, I completed my Master's degree in Technology.
