AGHNI Membership
Why become a member?

How do I become a member?:
•Annual membership $50, Lifetime membership $500 senior Citizen 25% discount at age 65 or older
Membership Details
● Founder members are the initial group of individuals who conceived the idea of AGHNI. These members contributed an initial amount of $200 as seed money.
● Paid members are individuals who will pay a lifetime membership, or an annual membership as described later in this document.
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 years who is interested in the furtherance of AGHNI and is living in the Greater Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania, USA.
All persons who support the purposes of AGHNI may become members and hold office in accordance with the provisions of the bylaws, upon enrollment and timely payment of membership dues.
Membership shall entitle a person and his/her immediate family to all privileges that all Members of AGHNI have, as determined from time to time, subject to the terms of the by-laws.
“Membership Units” shall be defined as spouses and any dependent/minor children living in the same household.

Following counties will constitute Greater Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania for AGHNI: Cumberland County, Dauphin County, York County, Lebanon County and Lancaster County
For the purpose of AGHNI, following definition will be used to define North India: States defined in Wikipedia as North Indian states: Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Ladakh
● AGHNI membership is open to anyone who supports its mission and is willing to learn and immerse in culture and celebrations which are unique to North India, residing in the Greater Harrisburg area of PA as defined in section 1.02 and identifying as part of North India defined in section 1.03.
● Hindi speaking member identifying with mission of AGHNI
● Membership is also open to people from other states in India (not covered in section 1.03) and other countries who identify with mission of AGHNI
Membership Rules
By taking Membership with AGHNI, members are expected to abide with following rules
● Look to be brand ambassador to promote values and mission statement of AGHNI
● Respect values and views of other members and directors of AGHNI
● Do not promote negative information and mis-information propaganda against AGHNI
● Do not steer existing members away from AGHNI by influencing them negatively
● Do not use the AGHNI forum to fulfill political agenda
Failure to comply with above rules will result in membership revocation from AGHNI.
● The membership revocation process will require a majority of directors to vote for the revocation.
● For any revocation, membership fees will be forfeited
