Our learning design team is proficient in using Online Learning Consortium Scorecard, Quality Matters, and SUNY OSCR rubrics.
Design Approach
The course development model adopted by Symbiosis Educational Consultants is "faculty as SME."
In this model, faculty work with an instructional designer at times convenient to the faculty member. The development work is done by instructional designers, copyeditors, media and LMS developers.
Quality Assurances
Faculty and departments approve the course map and syllabus before work begins. A second review is done after the first module is completed. Weekly progress reports, a pre-launch checklist with faculty review are other quality actions completed before course delivery. Certified Quality Matters reviewers perform an informal review.
