The library, no matter your project type, is a great resource! You can use it to learn more about a science topic for an investigation project, about animals, or to research an inventor/scientist! You could go to a local library or talk to your school librarian. You can tell the librarian what your project is about and they can help you locate books about it!

This website has some wonderful information on animals. My favorite is it talks about some of the unique features of each animal.
You don't need to write an animal report, but this website gives great ideas on what things to research about your animal. Plus the writing tips may help your display board be more clear.
This link will bring you to a youtube playlist with a large amount of "how to draw" videos for different animals. This could help if you decide to draw a diagram of your animal or some type of picture!
