The Educational Research Reading Circle (ERRC) began in 2020 under the name 'The EdResearchers Journal e-club' as a forum to engage in research-oriented discussions. This journal e-club brought together academicians and students of research in the fields of general education, special education, inclusive education, and technology for education and met every month for nearly one and half years after which it fell silent for the next 5 years. It was re-started with its present name - the Educational Research Reading Circle, to give this activity a structured format for enabling more benefits for its participants.
The ERRC began in January of 2026 and completed its first 6-months with 13 sessions and 30 participants. Various papers were presented during these sessions, followed by intriguing and insightful discussions on the nuances of the research papers. Few research scholars presented their proposals and obtained enabling feedback from the members of ERRC. One important outcome of this set of sessions was the identification of topics of interest by the members that can be further researched. Towards this, few special interest groups were also formed.
Now, as we move ahead, the ERRC is being upgraded with several exciting additions that will help us make our sessions even more accessible, interesting, and interactive making our time even more engaging. These new features are:
1. Two structured biannual capsules.
2. Two sessions each month (even Fridays, 8pm to 9pm).
3. Research paper list contributed by each member in central location accessible to all members.
4. An online ERRC workshop during every 6th month of each biannual capsule.
5. At the end of each year, certificates will be awarded to all members.
ERRC membership entails access and participation to the paper reading list, ERRC sessions, and the workshop. The annual membership fees are as follows:
Professionals: Rs. 750/-
Scholars: Rs. 500/-
