2026-2027 Seniors Committee

OPENING Senior Events - CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2027!!!

Senior Events- Thank you to the following community partners for helping to make our senior events a success this year!

Apex Police Department. The parade runs on their permit and their officers. Thank you to Lt. Best and to our School Resource Officers, Officer Perez and Officer Arata.

Thank you to the businesses that fed our seniors. McDonald's on Lake Pine donated food for Senior Sunrise. Peace, Love and Little Donuts of Apex made the donuts and opened early on a Monday to do it, and Fratelli's Delicatessen made the 600 sandwiches for the Social.

Thank you to the families who donated supplies and time. Food, drinks, decorations, gift cards, and parents who were at Apex Nature Park at 6:00 AM lining up cars. Item donations are now closed. Gift cards and monetary donations are still welcome and get used all year.

Thank you to Mr. K for his support of the chalking event!

Missed the senior t-shirt? Shirts are a Student Coumcil item, not a senior committee one. Contact Ms. Wooten at twooten2@wcpss.net and pick it up at school.

Senior Social

Seniors filled the cafeteria for lunch, picked up their senior shirts and their yard signs, took pictures, and won raffle prizes.

Fratelli's (Sweetwater Town Center, Apex) generously provided 600 sandwiches and there were boxes left at the end. Those went to the AFHS staff first, and the rest went to the Apex Police Department. A giant thank you to Fratelli's Delicatessen. as this was the single biggest ask of the year and they covered it. They cater, and graduation-party season is coming, so please keep them in mind.

Also, a big thank you to our seniors chairs and volunteers who made this event happen, plus our parents/families who donated and/or bought signs! It takes a community to create memorable events for our students.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this beloved tradition. All the artwork and creativity was amazing and the PTSA is grateful that we didn't have to judge! Congratulations to our winners.
