Affinity Academy

At Affinity, we believe education begins with connection. The word Affinity means closeness — when teachers devote themselves wholeheartedly, strong bonds form between teachers and students. These relationships help children grow with confidence and make learning truly effective.

Our mission goes beyond teaching language. We aim to foster cultural awareness and pride in Chinese heritage through hands-on activities, poetry, and cultural events, helping children feel connected to their roots while thriving in the U.S.

With the founder’s strong background in mathematics, we also design math programs that blend Chinese learning strengths with the Texas curriculum and American emphasis on application and logic. In addition, we integrate STEAM education—including Lego robotics and science experiments—to encourage creativity, interdisciplinary thinking, and real-world problem-solving.

Together, Mathematics, Chinese and STEAM represent culture, logic, and creativity—the foundation of the well-rounded education we strive to offer every child.

在倾心中文学校，我们相信教育始于 亲密的关系。英文名称 Affinity 意为“亲近”，当老师全心投入、用心沟通时，师生之间就能建立牢固的联系。这种关系不仅让孩子更有自信，也让学习更加高效。

我们的使命不仅是教授中文，更是培养孩子们的 文化认同感 和对中华文化的自豪。我们通过动手活动、诗词歌赋以及定期的文化体验，让孩子们在美国环境中保持文化根基。

依托创始人扎实的数学背景，学校还研发了结合德州课程标准的 数学项目，将中国数学学习的优势与美国注重应用和逻辑的特点相融合。此外，我们把中文和数学与 STEAM 教育 相结合，通过乐高机器人、科学实验等项目，激发孩子们的创造力，培养跨学科思维和解决实际问题的能力。
