As a TAK Liaison Officer you will receive all the latest ATX TAK updates, have a voice in the development roadmap, and act as an advocate in implementing TAK within your organization. These liaisons are crucial to expanding the program within the region and supporting your organization with the technical challenges in rolling out TAK to your organization.
Can an organization have only one Liaison Officer?
No, an organization can have as many Liaison Officers as they like. The most important requirement is promoting the flexibility and capability of the system and assisting your department with user onboarding.
Will I have support as an ATXTAK liaison officer?
Yes. Although ATXTAK does not have a staff to address customer support issues, ATXTAK Liaisons will have the appropriate contact information to contact key individuals to assist in any technical challenges that arise and a direct line of communication with the development team to build capabilities within the system for your organization.
Should every organization have a ATXTAK liaison?
Yes, preferably. But in certain instances, support for a department through a liaison officer may be available from another entity such as your County emergency managers, a neighboring department.
Will an ATXTAK Liaison Officer get special privlages within the ATXTAK server?
Yes. ATXTAK Liaison Officers receive a unique system login and access to additional user groups within the system. In particular, ATXTAK Liaison's are added to the research and development group for a sneak peak at new capabilities in development.
