Referendum 2025 Results
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, voters in the Adams-Friendship Area School District considered a two-question referendum aimed at addressing cost saving opportunities and student capacity solutions through building restructuring. The unofficial election results are as follows:
Question #1: 2411 YES (45.4%) and 2902 NO (54.6%)
Question #2: 2456 YES (46.7%) and 2801 NO (53.3%)
District Administrator Tom Wermuth expressed appreciation for the community’s engagement throughout the process:
"While we are disappointed by the results, we respect our community's decision. Our commitment to finding sustainable, long-term solutions for our budget and facilities remains strong, ensuring the best outcomes for our students, staff, and residents. We sincerely thank the Community Task Force, everyone who participated in the community survey, and our staff for their time and dedication in thoughtfully exploring necessary facility improvements. We appreciate the engagement and feedback from our community throughout this process and will continue working together to find the best path forward."
The District remains committed to exploring avenues to address our existing budget and the continued needs of our school facilities.
