The PowerSchool course request function will not be available from March 17th until March 24th. If you need to make changes after March 24th, or if you have any questions regarding course requests, please contact your counselor.

FAQs

Are classes, first come-first-serve? No. There is no advantage in finishing this process early. That said, if this process is not done at all it may compromise the choices that you have.
How many electives do I select? You select 6 but there are only 4 spots for electives. Band, Strings and Choir can take a full semester which means you would only take 2 electives.
If I select an elective, does it guarantee that I get that class? No. You select more than you can take in hopes that we can get you into electives that you like. That said, there are times when schedules can be quite restrictive and in these cases, you may not get any of your requested electives.
Can I change my World Language? You can, though there are times when it is not advisable. Check with your counselor if you select a new language.
Can I take two world languages or two music classes? It is rare that we allow this but talk to your counselor and we'll see if that is the right thing for your schedule.
Can I take a language in addition to ELD support? It is possible but certainly requires a conversation with your counselor.
