A Coalition of individuals and organizations in the Greater Billings area, supported by AERO, are interested in gathering your thoughts about our community's food system.

We are gathering information about our community food system to better understand what is working well, what could be working better, and what else could happen in our food system.
A food system very simply is how we get our food. The food system includes all people and processes involved in feeding people: growing, harvesting, processing, packaging, transporting, marketing, consuming and disposing of food and food packages.
This information will inform a Community Food System Assessment for the Greater Billings area.
A Community Food System Assessment:
Is a snapshot in time of what is working well, what isn't working well, and what else there could be within the community food and agriculture system.
Can help inform an actionable plan to foster a thriving and resilient food and agriculture system in the greater Billings area.
The Coalition will review your information in order to develop a set of Community Priorities and Action Items aimed to enhance your current community food system.
All information will be shared back to the community and community members will be invited to provide feedback and even get involved on Priorities and Action Items.
