Meet Your Teacher

My name is Amanda Lauster and I have been teaching at AEMS for 14 years. This is my second year teaching 5th grade ELA but I have been involved in literacy my entire career. I received my Undergraduate Degree from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. I have lived all over the country and have attended or worked at 14 different schools. A.E.M.S. is one of my favorites!! In my free time, I like to read, play tennis and take hikes with my family and my black lab Hansel.
