Our project, inspired by the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, aims to enhance key competences and inclusion through creativity and arts. The project addresses the negative impact of prolonged distance learning on students' social and cooperative skills. By merging digital technology with outdoor activities, we seek to improve students' social, artistic, and digital skills. The project's goal is to create innovative resources that integrate outdoor and digital learning, making education more effective. The project will produce various resources like evaluation instruments, project management documents, and an ebook, and will share results through social media and Erasmus Results Platform.
The project targets approximately 2000 students aged 10 to 15 and their teachers, focusing particularly on students with fewer opportunities. Around 250 students will directly participate, with a subset involved in welcoming activities and international mobility. The project aims to enhance students' social, linguistic, and digital skills through active participation in local activities and problem-solving. Teachers will develop and share new teaching methods, assess the impact of activities, and promote nature-based activities supported by ICT. The project also involves families, community partners, educational networks, and decision-makers at various levels, aiming to increase transnational capabilities, positive effects, and implementation of policies.
We started this project after discovering that the pandemic severely impacted students' social and digital skills. Previous KA1 projects helped schools recognize common issues, leading to the idea of a strategic partnership. By leveraging each school's strengths, the project aims to enhance teaching methods, creativity, and innovation to improve students' motivation and skills. The project focuses on exchanging ideas with partners to address challenges and promote digital and outdoor learning. The expected benefits include improved socialization, cooperation, and digital literacy for students, as well as support for teachers, families, educational entities, and decision-makers.
