Christmas Time is Here!

December 11, 2025 - Christmas has always been a time of celebrating the birthday of our dear savior Jesus Christ, as well as a time of gift giving. With the initiatives of our community member, a Solid waste management Christmas Competition, where the students of Balok Elementary School, together with their parents and advisers racked their creative minds to design their doors with a Christmas theme only using recycled materials, used papercups, plastic bottles, or in general anything that is a byproduct of human consumption.

The program started at 8am where we started with a word of prayer, then the rest is history, we had games, and even a dance number from the students. We also gave out cute gifts and snacks to celebrate the spirit.Overall, with the success of this program we have taken a step towards a brighter future. A sustainable future begins when we stop seeing nature as a resource and start seeing it as a relationship.
