Back To Work!

November 2025- Back from a 6 month clerkship journey, the community of Barangay Balok continued on with the blood pressure monitoring signifying their independence and the sustainability of the programs brought about by our very own teambayayong balok. 

But still there is much work that needs to be set in place. Goals dont fulfill itself. The teambayayong set out to the hypertensives, per purok every Saturday of the week, their blood pressure was assessed along with accessibility to medications and adherence via Hillbone. Most were new members but some members of the hypertension club also came back,igniting a spark of joy for both of us because of a sense of familiarity, because of the last 4 years we have been together, we have developed a sort of bond. 

In line with this, the teambayayong also works as a physician in supervision under Dr. Rex Samson, out esteemed Municipal Health Officer, in which we help provide care to the community of Barangay Balok and prioritize their enrollment in the Yakap Consulta and acquire free medications.
