To become confident with the names of the notes on the stave and be able to identify them.

‘Pitch’ is the word we use to describe if the sounds an instrument is playing go HIGHER or LOWER.
Using this guide - learn how to draw a treble clef. You can do this on scrap paper. Practise it a few times.
Top tip: some people find it easier to draw backwards - starting at 5 and working back to 1.
There are different ways of doing this but the most tradition and common way is by writing the notes on a STAVE.
Using a ruler and pencil, draw 5 equally spaced lines on your paper
Draw a treble clef a the start (you may want to practise this a few times!)
Draw on notes for the lines and spaces and label the note names below
