Acoustic Guitar - Intermediate

Welcome to the acoustic guitar intermediate course which takes place at Brockley Rise Centre, Adult Learning Lewisham . 

I have designed this course to follow on from the beginners course. To get the most from this course you will already be comfortable with open chords, some bar chords, strumming and finger picking. Over the 10 week  course we will:

•  Revise basic chords and bar chords 

•  Explore and analyse rhythm to better understand strumming patterns    

• Build more advanced fingerpicking skills

•  Practice lead techniques and learn some scales

• Expand our chord building theory and the relationships between scales chords 

• Learn and play songs together as a group 

I have structured the course so that it is progressive over the weeks and would advise referring to each week's documents for home practice between sessions.
